Kinley Choden 12 Science

My Backstory.

"Life is like a camera. Just focus on what is important and capture good times and develop from negativity". So, here my story begins. I was thrown into this beautiful world on 19th September 2005. I was the second child and I already had a elder brother. As a first daughter in the family, I received all the love and care from my family. Though my brother was small, he did his best to fulfil every wants of mine. I abstracted my first name from my father and the last name from my mother. I was named Kinley Choden, daughter of Mr. Kinley Namgay and Ms. Sonam Choden. My father is from Nganglam and my mother is from Khar, Pemagatshel. From my childhood days itself I was isolated and had no interest to interact with the people. The only passion I had was drawing.

Everything was perfect in my life. However, as the time passed, my father was dragged into alcohol consumption. That was the moment from where the main conflict of my story begun. My father rarely came home and he never shared his salary with my mom to buy groceries. He flushed all his income into his drinking. By that time, my mom was pregnant with the third child. My mother had no job but somehow she managed to feed us. When the delivery date came, my father was drunk again. Due to his clumsiness, my mom had to deliver the child at home only. My father's way of living never improved and my mom's eyes were never stayed dry. Seeing other's family filled with peace and harmony, it made me to wonder, did I bring bad deeds to my family? That was the big question mark in my head.

Years kept on changing but my life had no changes. I got into school and started studying hard. I always had the hope of bringing everything back to the track by studying hard. My mother kept on giving birth and the family's happiness kept on degrading. Then I decided to get enrolled in Genekha Lower Secondary school to study well without any distraction. I kept on studying and topped. However, the faith again brought my life to another challenge. My parents got divorced in the year 2019 and due to financial issues, all my siblings (5 including me) were sent to different places. From that day onwards I never got to be with my siblings. Departing from my siblings and my ama made me to realise that nothing is permanent. Nevertheless, I have to say that my life improved a little bit since the day my parents got divorced.

Currently, both my parents started their new life by marrying again. My siblings are still in different places and I am always looking forward to see them again. My elder brother finished his high school, my younger sister is in grade 11, my younger brother is in 4 and my youngest sister is in grade 2. With no worries about the issues at home, I am able to study without any obstacle. My only dream is to become a person whom my parents and siblings can rely on without any hesitation.
