My backstory. ( My biography)
I'm a guy well known to every body as Rinchen khandu who came from a one of the remote village situated on northern part of Bhutan called Lunana. This guy was introduced to this world on 15th July 2004 by my mom Dorji Pelmo and dad Tshering dorji. Till now I am been raised and bought up by my uncle Tashi Namgay from the age of 6 itself. From the day I was born i was given not proper care by mother and i was taken care by my granny and uncle. I was enrolled as a student and admitted in our community school when I was six. I studied there till class two Staying in my own village and studying there has great memories and joy. But when i was in class 2, we fifteen of us was listed and enrolled as Gyelpoi tozey student. After that we came to Thimphu in the cold and very harsh weather crossing the tragic snow capped mountains. I was seven that time and crossing those mountains which are above 6000m to 7000m was one of the hardest moments in my life. After fighting with the cold blizzards and harsh climate along the cold terrains for 5 days finally we reached to our destination.
Myself and 14 of us from my village were placed and admitted in of of the schools in Thimphu dzongkhag that is Genekha Lower secondary school. When I think back to my times at GLSS , a flood of vivid memories rushes in. Of course, Those days was not without its challenges. I vividly recall the butterflies in my stomach before a class presentation, the frustration of struggling with difficult math problems, and the occasional conflicts with classmates. These moments, though challenging at the time, taught me valuable lessons in perseverance, empathy, and the importance of friendship. Being far flung from my village and i haven't get much chance to meet my parents during my school day. Sometimes during mid term break and holidays also me and my brother doesn't have any place to go and our melancholic face is left in the school, waving our hands to those of our friends who goes with overloaded smile on their face with their parents. The memories of playing mar balls and bottle caps never fades from my mind. Moreover those bad memories too, like having tough time to do laundry and not able to resist the cold to take shower. Combating all those obstacles, after few years i was graduated from from Genekha with all those unforgettable times of good and bad.
After graduating from Genekha, I came here at Wangbama CS. I studied here from class VIII. It was again the hatest season of the people of Bama, winter... As being opposite to one of the highest mountain Dagala, winter is little cold here so most people hates. We students being always lucky and need to return to school in this harsh season. Studied here from class VIII to X and I had to drop out when I reach class XI due to some issues. After dropping for one whole year, I repeated in XI with a glimpse of hope and took science stream. It was very hard and tough moment for me to study after not touching the book for 365 days. But with determination and aspirations from my teachers and friends I tried my level best. After trying my level best my result was little colorful at the end.
