Back Story


Early
Life  and  Childhood.

Sonam was delivered to  mother name Nidup and Father name Norbu Tshering in 8th January into the village named Nabisa which is under Paro Dzongkha. She was only the child from her parents.  Her both parents were grazier and they  earn through it. In Sonam's family , her mother was 2nd eldest sister. Sonam loves listening  songs like Korean and Bhutanese. Her hobby is to read books and watch dramas like Korean, Chinese, Thai and etc...

Primary School Life.

Sonam joined the school at year 2012 in Tala Lower Secondary School and she stayed with her uncle(Azha) and grandma. Tala is a place where all the surrounding were clean and green. Their settlement is like linear settlement where the house are located near the road. She took bus to reach at school and her grandma approach in lunch time. At weekends she roam with her grandma and have enjoyable weekends. After a year both of them came back at their village( Issuna Primary School) and continued her studies at her village school. Till class 3 she studied in village school and she went in boarding school in Genekha Primary School for further studies.

Genekha Lower Secondary is in Geney gewog under Thimphu dzongkhag. In her primary school life her friends were Sonam Lhaden, Minju Rai, Tenzin Eden and till class 8 they stayed together. In every 2 weeks Sonam's mom came to  with meet her and brings lunch, junks and some necessary things. From 3 friends she mostly spent time and roam with her as they were classmate. 2019 year is indelible year as our country had shut down  for several times so that the citizen of Bhutanese can bear circumstance and the schools were closed and  students can learned through online class. Sonam also qualify from that and reached to grade 9. 

High School Life

At 2021 Sonam reached in class 9 at Wangbama Central School located under Thimphu Dzongkhag and meet with new friend called Tsheten Lhamo. Tsheten is from Lingzhi and they strengthen till 10 as Tsheten didn't get through. At class 10 Sonam meet with Kuenzang C Dorji. For students who are in Class 10 had to appear for board exam and she didn't waste she time with others. She study hard and achieve 72% . At grade 11 she choose Commerce stream and had promoted in grade 12. Now she is currently in grade 12 in 2024.

Access to information and resources: cell phones provide students with instant access to a wealth of information and educational resources. With internet connectivity, students can conduct research, access e-books, and engage with online educational platforms. By allowing cell phones in schools, educators can harness this vast repository of knowledge to supplement traditional teaching methods and provide students with a more comprehensive learning experience.

Promoting digital literacy and preparedness: In today's digital age, proficiency with technology is essential for success in higher education and the workforce. Allowing cell phones in schools helps students develop digital literacy skills and prepares them for the demands of an increasingly technology-driven world. By integrating cell phones into the learning environment, educators can empower students to navigate digital tools and platforms confidently, giving them a competitive edge in their academic and professional pursuits.

4.                     Should school uniforms be mandatory in all schools?

In this essay, I will argue that school uniforms should be mandatory in all schools because they promote a sense of unity, reduce socioeconomic disparities, and create a conducive learning environment.

When everyone wears the same attire, it eliminates visible markers of socioeconomic status, reducing the likelihood of discrimination or bullying based on clothing. My academic goals in English  

To achieve good marks in English, firstly I will prioritize attending in all English classes and actively participate in class. To expand more in vocabulary I will reads books and keep daily records that I didn't know. After class, I will give some time  to review what we have covered and complete assignments. If I come across any difficulties, I won't hesitate to ask help from my teachers. With this effort, I'm confident that I'll  see significant progress in my English subject.
