Sahil Subba 12 Commerce (poem)

 Father

In the quiet moments of twilight's grace,

A silhouette emerges, a familiar face.

Strong and steady, yet gentle and kind,

A beacon of wisdom, a fortress of mind.

With calloused hands and eyes that gleam,

He guides with love through life's vast stream.

A silent hero in the shadows cast,

His presence, a tether, steadfast and fast.

In childhood's days, his arms would sway,

Lifting high, where worries would sway.

A protector, a provider, a guardian true,

His love, an endless river, forever anew.

Through laughter and tears, he stands by,

A pillar of strength beneath the sky.

His words, a melody, a soothing balm,

In the stormy seas, a guiding calm.

In moments of triumph, he shares the joy,

A cheerleader, a mentor, never coy.

And in defeat, he offers a hand,

To lift us up, to help us stand.

His sacrifices, often unseen,

A silent symphony, a selfless sheen.

For every dream he sets aside,

To see us soar, to watch us stride.

As time unfurls its relentless art,

Lines etched deep, a map of the heart.

Yet his spirit, undaunted, remains,

A beacon of hope through life's refrains.

So here's to the fathers, steadfast and true,

Whose love knows no bounds, forever anew.

In every heartbeat, in every breath,

Their legacy lives on, even after death.
